Imagine my surprise when mum and dad disappeared last night and then turned up a couple of hours later with a Flo in tow. I didn’t know she was coming to stay. And today I found out that Miles has come with her. In fact, I believe Tigger is also here, but is sulking in her suitcase after he was told off for bouncing on someone’s head when they were on the plane down.

I was a bit disappointed when mum, dad and Adam took Flo out. Apparently they were going for a birthday meal but for some reason they didn’t take me and Miles. I don’t understand why. But when they came back there was another surprise, because they had found Matthew and Hannah in the restaurant. So they brought them home. Then we had a ritual where Flo had to open birthday cards and presents.

Then they all played a silly quiz game. I thought that they would make Flo the honorary winner, but they actually didn’t let her win. How cruel was that on her birthday?

After that they had birthday cake – a Colin the Caterpillar cake. Flo ate the face and didn’t even offer any to Miles. He was not impressed, I can tell you. He asked me afterwards what was the point of owning a human if there was no cake for him? I must admit, I couldn’t answer him.
